- #1 - Apply: Receive CFAY Approval – Contact CFAY Legal for more information.
#2 - Register & Pay: Pay registration fee to MWR Travel and Tours Office by Tuesday, October 1 • 6 p.m.
#3 - Participate in Mandatory Briefs: Attend the mandatory participation meeting for event details. - • Who can be a vendor?
- CFAY approved commands and NFE(s). All will need to obtain a CFAY approval letter specific to this event to participate.
- • What is the cost?
- Registration fee is $350. This includes 1x tent, 1x table, 2x chairs, and power.
- • What event is this for?
- Yokosuka Friendship Day 2024.

- • When can I apply?
- Applications are accepted now. Follow this checklist as a guide and obtain your CFAY Approval Letter. Provide a copy to the MWR Travel and Tours office and complete registration.
- • When do I have to turn my application packet in?
- More information can be found regarding application packets by visiting or contacting CFAY legal 046-816- 7335 or 243-7335. See application checklist as a guideline.
- • Can I pick my tent number?
- Tents are chosen randomly. Special requests will be reviewed but not guaranteed. Please provide your request to the MWR special events staff during registration at the Travel & Tours office.
- • What will be discussed at these meetings?
- All logistics, updates, deadlines, rules, introduction of other action officers pertaining to the festivities.
- • Are these meetings mandatory?
- Only one Participation Meeting is required to attend. We strongly encourage you to attend at least one meeting for each topic (Application, Registration, and Participation).
- • Can Home Based Businesses (HBB) participate?
- Unfortunately, at this time, we are not authorized to permit HBB sales to the local community. Commands and organizations may only fundraise.
- • Do I need to attend a sanitation course if I am only providing products for our booth?
- No. These courses are only for those who plan to sell food and beverages at this event.
- • My command/organization would like to volunteer for this event, where do we sign up as volunteers?
- Contact us using the email address provided below. Please provide your command/organization information, event day POC and how many people plan to volunteer. Letters of appreciation will be provide after the event.
