The Wood Hobby Shop is open to patrons ages 17 and up. Minors aged 14–16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Shop Fees:
• $36 / Monthly Pass
• $3 / hour

WOODWORKING
Have you ever wanted to start a woodworking project but didn't know where to begin? Do you have furniture that was damaged during your move to Yokosuka? Or are you thinking of crafting a unique gift for the holidays? The Wood Hobby Shop is here to help! Just bring your ideas and dimensions, and we will guide you through the rest.

WOOD HOBBY CLASSES
We offer classes for all skill levels, covering everything from safety and machinery operation to specific small projects.
Reservations:
• Required for all classes.
• Please register by the Thursday prior to the class date.
Requirements:
• A Safety Orientation must be completed before attending any class (see schedule below).
Fees:
• $15 per person (includes shop usage, materials, and instruction).
Regular Class Schedule:
• Safety Orientation: Thursdays & Saturdays at 11 a.m.
• Basic Woodworking: 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Noon

POTTERY STUDIO
Our Pottery Studio is a creative space for both professional artists and hobbyists to craft unique, handmade items. Whether you are interested in functional pieces like tableware or decorative sculptures and vases, our studio provides the equipment to bring your vision to life.
The studio is available for patrons ages 17 and up (minors aged 14–16 must be accompanied by a guardian). The studio is only available upon class enrollment. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes covering:
• Wheel throwing and hand-building
• Glazing and firing techniques
• Instruction on a variety of professional tools and materials
Our instructors are professional potters with active artistic careers, ready to help you refine your craft.
