Yokosuka Community Center
We provide a variety of arts and crafts and developmental lessons. The Community Center provides Japanese crafts classes, music lessons, educational aids, Japanese language lessons, Japanese cooking classes, selected martial arts, dance lessons (Japanese, jazz, hip-hop, belly dance, tap, and more) KUMON and more.
NOTICE: Community Center Class Registration and Payments for services offered in Yokosuka and Ikego can now be accepted at either site.
NOW HIRING! - We are looking for Teachers
We are seeking experienced, motivated, and exciting teachers, for kids & adult classes. We are seeking instructors to conduct classes in Japanese language for adults, Ballet Dance, Hip-Hop Dance, Gymnasts, and Taiko Drums for ages 2 year old to adult.

Yokosuka Community Center classes are conducted Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Contracts will be made between selected teachers and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department. Class fees proposed by selected teachers will be per student and negotiated with Community Center.

Japanese Language Classes for Afloat and Tenant Commands
Here's a great opportunity to learn the Japanese language as MWR brings it to your command! Our experienced and motivated Japanese language instructors will visit your command to provide excellent Japanese language curriculums targeting those who want to enhance their Japanese conversation skills, as well as those aiming at mastering Japanese.
