Mt. Fuji Climbing Season

What a story to tell back home! Trek, climb, and taste the victory of climbing Japan’s tallest mountain, an absolute must-do when visiting Japan! The hike begins at Mt. Fuji’s fifth station and challenges even the fittest and most experienced hikers. Bring yen for admission fee and to purchase your very own Fuji stick.

Mandatory Mt Fuji On-Line Safety Briefing
Interested in climbing Mt. Fuji? Our Mt. Fuji online safety briefing is designed to prepare you, and help make your hike a memorable experience! Complete the mandatory Mt. Fuji online safety brief, print out the certificate and bring it to Outdoor Recreation Center to register for Mt. Fuji trips.

Registration
Registration for Mt. Fuji hiking trips will start Monday, July 12 at the Outdoor Recreation Center. Completion of the Mt. Fuji On-Line Safety Brief is required to register.

Volunteer for Mt. Fuji Trips
Are you interested in helping MWR with Mt Fuji hiking trips? Outdoor Recreation is looking for volunteers to support our trip leaders during the Mt. Fuji hiking season in July and August. First-aid certification and hiking experience is requested of interested volunteers. For all inquiries, please contact Outdoor Recreation Center at 243-5732. | 046-816-5732.
