Explore the unique landscape on the east side of Mt. Fuji, where a volcanic desert stretches out beneath a wide-open sky. As you hike, you'll be struck by the sheer scale of the mountain and the vastness of its base. The hike covers approximately 5 miles with 1,700 ft of elevation gain, and the total duration is about 4 hours.
