Beginner Hike at Hoei Crater, Mt. Fuji

Saturday, June 21 • 5 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Mt. Fuji’s last eruption happened in 1707 making a huge crater on the south-east side. This is known as the “Hoei Crater” and you will hike there from the trailhead of Fujinomiya 5th Station. Explore in and around the crater, getting to see lesser-traveled areas of mountain and beautiful views to the south. It’s a 4-mile round trip with 1,750ft elevation gain. The duration is about 4 hours.
