Emma Stiller (they/them) will talk about writing as a teenager, read a passage from their book, conduct a craft where children design their own reading journal, and have a Q&A/photo op with a Polaroid camera. "If I Was a Tree" is the title of Emma's poetry collection. The book, which covers friendship and loss, nature and the paranormal, and military life, is aimed towards children and teenagers and depicts the complexities of a military child's life.
