Mt. Fuji Climbing Season

What a story to tell back home! Trek, climb, and taste the victory of climbing Japan’s tallest mountain, an absolute must-do when visiting Japan! The hike begins at Mt. Fuji’s fifth station and challenges even the fittest and most experienced climbers/hikers. Bring yen for admission fee and to purchase your very own Fuji stick. Mt Fuji climbing season is July 1 - August 31.

Interested in climbing Mt. Fuji? Our Mt. Fuji online safety briefing is designed to prepare you, and help make your climb a memorable experience! Complete the mandatory Mt. Fuji Online Safety Brief, print out the certificate and bring it to Outdoor Recreation Center to register for Mt. Fuji trips. You can use the link on this page to download the brief.

Registration
Registration for Mt. Fuji hiking trips in July, will start Saturday, June 1 at the Outdoor Recreation Center. Completion of the Mt. Fuji Online Safety Brief is required to register.

Minimum age is 10 years old.
