Fishing Basics 101

Saturday, April 6 • 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Fishing is a fun and rewarding pastime and a skill you can continue to grow into throughout your life. But getting started can be confusing and sometimes intimidating; we want to be there to get you through the basics! Join us in the classroom for a short instructional where we will go over, step-by-step and lead you through the gear and teach you just enough of the basics to get you going. We'll then head outside for a few hours to put some of that knowledge into action. From the seawall we'll go over casting skills, baiting your hook, tying your lures and more! All you have to do is bring your interest, we will take care of the rest. Warm and layered clothing is recommended. This activity is limited to supervised children 13 and older. Limited to 8 people per class.
