Ogawayama, renowned for its granite, is a popular destination for rock climbing in Japan. As we venture into the deep forest on the back side of the climbing area, we’ll encounter the breathtaking Karasawa Waterfalls, which plunge approximately 100 feet. The trail then leads us to a ridge walk, offering magnificent views of the colossal rock formations. This intermediate hike covers roughly 3.5 miles, with an elevation gain of 1,500 feet, and is expected to take around 3 hours.
