Discover the charm of traditional Japanese fishing at Hayato Ravine, where crystal-clear waters flow from Mt. Hirugatake, the highest peak in the Tanzawa Mountains. Experience the peaceful beauty of a mountain stream as you try your hand at traditional Japanese bait fishing using a simple bamboo rod with no reel—a unique and authentic way to connect with nature.

No fishing experience? No problem! Your trip leader will teach you the basic techniques to help you get started. After your catch, bring your fish to a riverside restaurant, where it can be freshly prepared as tempura, deep-fried fish, or salt-grilled fish for your lunch (additional fee applies). Enjoy a relaxing outdoor adventure and savor the delicious reward of catching your own meal!

• Trip fee includes transportation, fishing fee, a rental single bamboo rod, tackle and bait (worm/salmon caviar) and fishing net.
