Celebrate America's Birthday with MWR, Navy Exchange, and the Commissary
Monday, July 4 • 3 - 7:30 p.m. • Berkey Field
Come out and celebrate America's birthday and enjoy carnival games, live entertainment, and great food & beverages. Fireworks show starts at 7:30 p.m.**
Carnival: Enjoy Unlimited Carnival Games & Water Events all day with the purchase of a wristband at one low price. Pre-sale of wristbands are available at Tickets & Travel Office now - June 30. Only credit cards will be accepted. Price $10 / wristband.
Food & Beverages: Variety of food such as Yokosuka Navy Burger, BBQ Pork Ribs, Roast Beef Po’ Boy and Gator Bait Strips (chicken) will be sold by MWR’s CPO Club & Club Alliance.
Vendors: Home Business Owners are invited to participate in the event.
• Register now - June 27, registration is free and open to non-food/beverage vendors only.
• Businesses must be CFAY approved.
• Businesses must provide their own equipment.
• Space for the booths will be assigned by MWR and will not exceed 12'x12'.

Entertainment: Listen to the sounds of freedom while Yokosuka's very own 7th Fleet Band, along with other musical guests entertain you throughout the day. We will also have live street performers, a car show, and a harbor patrol unit demonstration. End the night with a spectacular fireworks show - the best way to wish America a Happy Birthday! Youth Sports Nerf Battle**
Pre-registration required now through Friday, June 24.
Starting at 4:30 p.m. • Main Softball Field
Come out and let your kids show off their skills in our annual event. For ages 5 - 13. Free event!

• 9 - 13 years old • 5 - 6:30 p.m.

The Cool Zone**
Getting too hot while enjoying the celebration? Then head over to our "Cool Zone" located at the mini softball field. We will have bumper boats along with three inflatable water slides. We will provide changing area so please feel free to bring a bathing suit. Towels are not provided. Bumper boats: Ages 3 & up (100lb max). Water Slides: Ages 3-10. Navy Exchange's 3rd Annual Dibs on my Ribs
Pre-registration required now through Wednesday, June 29 at NEX Customer Service
4:30 p.m. • Berkey Field
DECA is a partner in this event and will provide 1 slab of pork ribs to each contestant and must be picked up by no later than Friday, July 1. In case of rain, presentation and judging will be at the NEX Main Store in front of the Electronics department at 4:30 p.m. This event is open to Home Cooks / Non-professionals. Minimum of entries required with a maximum of 10 entries. Ribs are to be prepared at home and presented to judges at the event. Ribs will be judged on taste and presentation. Event rules and rib coupons will be available at the time of registration.
Independence Day Bowling**
2 - 9 p.m. • Yokosuka Bowling Center

Gazebo Rental Packages**
Reservations are required and must be made at the Purdy Gym now through Thursday, June 30.

• 2 lbs of coleslaw
