Private Swim Lessons are back!

Private Swim lessons are coming back starting Tuesday, October 13

Registration will start Wednesday, October 7 at 8 a.m. online and at the Purdy Gym front desk. For the time being, these will be a one-time lessons only. If you should choose to have multiple lessons, please register weekly.

Masks will be worn transiting to and from lessons.

Please wait outside on the balcony for your lesson. Pool staff will take students temperature and direct you to the locker rooms. After changing, please come to the bleachers next to shallow lane #8.

Lessons will begin fifteen (15) minutes past the hour to conclude forty-five (45) minutes past the hour. After swim lessons you can take a shower.

Important: If you answer YES to any of the following questions, please call to cancel your lesson.

Have you experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours?
• fever or chills
• cough
• shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• fatigue
• muscle or body aches
• headache
• new loss of taste or smell
• sore throat
• congestion or runny nose
• nausea or vomiting
• diarrhea

Within the past 14 days, have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with a person who is known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or with anyone who has any symptoms consistent with COVID-19?

Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19?

Are you currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?

Pool Guidelines:
• A parent / guardian must be at least 18 years old, and be responsible for the child.
• Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by parent / guardian who must remain at the pool the entire time the child is present. If the child is left unattended it will be considered an abandonment issue and the proper authorities will be contacted.
